モントリオールでの学会発表

2013年11月5日より11月8日まで、CIPSPC(Canadian Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion Conferenceカナダ外 傷予防安全促進学会)に出席し、ポスターセッションでHigh School Students Perception of Trauma in Japanを発表しました。

講演：看護師による若者の外傷予防への取り組み 　　　～若者のアルコールと危険に関連した外傷予防～
ワークショップ「An International Approach to Preventing Risk and Alcohol Related Trauma in Youth, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Canada」で、「The Development of Trauma Injury Prevention methods which the High School Students have interested in」を発表しました。

カナダでは、外傷による経済損失が毎年約20兆円に上り、13,000人/年が死亡し、20万人/年以上の患者が入院を余儀なくされているそうです。また、スポーツ外傷は、アイスホッケーやスノーモービル・ATV(四輪バギー）による事故も多いため、予防的教育が重要であるとの発表がありまし た。
P.A.R.T.Yのミーティングも並行して開催され、2年ぶりに再会するカナダ、ブラジル、オーストラリアのmanagerやCoordinatorと 親交を深め、情報交換を持てました。
